The aeolian islands can be reached in just one hour by boat and 30 minutes by aliscafo from Gioiosa Marea, Patti or Milazzo: there are seven volcanic islands offering different wiews, but all are not be missed. The beautiful town of Cefal? (80 km), on west-side, is also only an hour by car: it deserves a visit for its seaside, cathedral and small alleywais. Taormina (115 km) does not need to be presented:it can be reached in a little more than an hour by motorway:a visit to this pearl is sure to be unforgettable. In addition, you can make day-long excursions to Palermo (150 km), Monreale, the valley of temples of Agrigento, Piazza Armerina and Noto (barocco art) and volcan ETNA for make trekking-tours.
